Its sweet earthy aroma is the key to unlock the gardens of euphoria and sedation. This massively relaxing nugget for stress, pain, insomnia, anxiety and migraines takes you on a journey of sleep, creativity, and happiness. Unlike other indica strains, this couchlock strain is a godsend for those who cannot sleep at night. G-13 Haze x NYC Diesel Soma Seeds Sativa 60 / Indica 40 Origins: G-13 haze x NYC Diesel Flowering: 70-90 days Harvest: early November The G-13 Haze x new York City Diesel is one of several G-13 crosses that Soma has developed from his signature weed strains. This pleasure pot has an exotic combination that evokes the aroma of old-school Thai-stick and the red grapefruit taste of the NYC Diesel. This strain is an indoor plant in most locales, and is only suitable outdoors in tropical settings. The G-13 Haze x NYC Diesel is happy in soil or a hydroponics setup, as long as it is allowed to branch out. It does especially well when super-cropped, producing plump, fairly dense flowers at close internodes. The main stalk is very strong and sturdy. Until the last three weeks, this plant stays green, but in the last phases of flowering, it may acquire a lavender hue on the bud and foliage. The high from G-13 haze x NYC Diesel is truly joyous. Its mood elevating qualities often creep up, shifting perspective to clear, light and happy thoughts. It encourages a sense of connectedness and may send the smoker on a hugging binge, or at least a sweet and gentle attitude toward friends and the world at large. Best indulged when one’s environment supports a loving demeanor, this strain is also potentially helpful for depression. The smell and taste have retained grapefruit tones from the Diesel, but the uniquely Haze aroma comes through in the smoke. Opening
SnowStorm Dutch Passion Indica / Ruderalis Origins: Afghani Master Kush x Ruderalis Flowering: 45-60 days SnowStorm is a potent indica-ruderalis hybrid in the Dutch Passion “autofem” family. This autoflowering, feminized strain was the culmination of a two year breeding project, successfully partnering a special ruderalis strain with Afghani Master Kush indica. The Master Kush parent is originally from the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan, and SnowStorm has harnessed its power into a fully automatic strain that progresses from start to finish in only 9-10 weeks. Named for its sticky, resinous, snow-dusted appearance at maturity, SnowStorm may just give you that special giddy Christmas -morning anticipation as it reaches harvest time. This indica strain is a strong and sturdy, low-maintenance plant that new or hobby growers will find quite manageable. Because its feminized, no gender selection is necessary, and the autoflowering characteristic removes the need for maintaining strict light cycle phases during growth. These qualities make SnowStorm a highly adaptable choice suitable for many circumstances. Plants can be grown indoors, where they thrive under a 20-hour on / 4-hour off cycle. Outdoors, this strain only needs two months of summer weather to grow from seed to maturity. Seeds grow for 2 weeks, and then automatically switch to flowering, maturing after 7 additional weeks. SnowStorm loks rather like a traditionally shaped Christmas tree plant, finishing at an average height of 20 inches. The leaves are of indica heritage with broad fingered leaflets. SnowStorm’s buds have a semi-compact structure and exude a sticky frosting of resin that resembles a brush of winter snow. Given their modest size, these plants deliver impressive yields with 1 ounce average and a 2 ounce maximum yield of high-quality marijuana plant. SnowStorm has a smooth yet sweet aroma with hints of citrus and fruit. The smoke is earthy and rich. This strain’s sticky coating contributes to its potent stone, which induces a pleasant and relaxed contentedness. The indica characteristic of the high does not motivate vigorous activity, but if relaxed receptiveness is the desired mood, SnowStorm can certainly elevate the appreciation of music, art, food, and the companionship of friends.
BF Blue Cheese Barney’s Farm Indica Origins: Skunk #1 Cheese variant x Blueberry Flowering: 60-70 days Harvest: late October Barney’s Farm Blue Cheese crosses the popular UK Cheese strain with the perennially popular Blueberry. Cheese is thought to be a distinctive Skunk #1 variant known for its pungent, intense flavors as much as for its immensely enjoyable and easygoing buzz. This strain came up in the UK, where it got a reputation as kind bud, but was only available in clone form. Then Big Buddha backcrossed it in the mid-2000s to create seeds, which opened up breeding possibilities. Here, Cheese is crossed with an indica-dominant Blueberry father, a strain known for its flavors and its purple-blue coloration. When selectively crossed, these two distinct tasting and widely recognized varieties have resulted in an incredibly fragrant and easy to grow strain. Barney’s Farm Blue Cheese likes to shoot up long and straight, forming a thick main stem. The side branching is significant and forms a strong tree-like frame that can be easily trained to a screen of green. This plant stays short and springy to the touch, with pale orange hairs jutting out of elongated calyxes. Average yields are 1.5-2 ounces (45-60g) per plant. Barney’s Farm Blue Cheese is a variety with one-of-a-kind taste – it is rich, round, and smooth, with a connoisseur’s spectrum from the sweet and floral to the deep, earthen chocolate baseline. The intense and pungent earthy musk aromas of the Cheese are retained, but are now tempered with sweet incense-like Blueberry notes. The Barney’s Farm Blue Cheese high is very heady. It creeps up then comes on strong and indica, with a full body stone. Many people will enjoy the trajectory of this mentally peaceful and physically relieving buzz. It has a pleasant entry and exit, although as it winds down, some people might find it a bit of a knockout, requiring a short nap to reset before moving on to any other activity
Stargazer Delta-9 Labs Indica 80 / Sativa 20 Origins: Warlock x AK-47 x Sensi Star Flowering: 60-70 days Harvest: early October Stargazer is an indoor strain from a family of strong, stoney connoisseur pot. her mother hybridizes the indica-dominant Warlock and the sativa-dominant AK-47, both noted for fast, stimulating, and slightly hashy highs. her Sensi Star father is likewise popular for its fast indica body stone with a side dish of mental stimulation. between them, Stargazer’s three immediate ancestors boast an average THC content of 20% and have won eleven major awards, including the High Life and high Times Cannabis Cups. As her name suggests, Stargazer was bred for intense, alert effects that are felt in both the mind and body; for happily gazing at the stars on a night ramble or gazing into a dance partner’s eyes. In its recommended indoor setting, Stargazer takes between 8 and 10 weeks to flower, depending on temperature. She likes cold temperatures more than most plants do, which might make her a good candidate for outdoor planting in the northern latitudes. Typically, though, Stargazer grows well in densely planted soil or hydro. Her Skunk and Afghan dominated genes lead to extensive branching, but sea of green cultivation is possible with some pruning. Stargazer’s internodes are close together, sprouting thin, whip-like branches that may require support once the buds begin to reach their full density. Her short, thick leaves are speckled with the oh-so-feminine pink hairs characteristic of her Warlock and AK-47 mother-line. While she blossoms, Stargazer’s scent is strong and leans toward pungency. Once cured, the palate is hard to describe – in the background, creamy and slightly sour body; in the foreground, a bite of Sensi Star’s lemon flavor pushed toward the astringent and minty. Delta-9 suggests that this sour-sweet mixture tastes a bit like a peppermint breath candy.
Dutch Haze Dutch Passion Seeds Written by S.T.Oner, Cannabis Sativa vol.1 Sativa Genetics: Unknown Haze x Unknown Indica Flowering: 63-77 days THC: 18% Dutch Passion has been in operation for over twenty years now and has one of the best reputations in the business, and deservedly so. They were one of the first Amsterdam based companies and certainly one with the most longevity, which surely says more about the quality of their original strains than I ever could. This one, known as Dutch Haze, just in case you’re in any confusion about where this company is from, is their answer to many requests for a true Haze strain that delivers great yields with shorter flowering times. To achieve this, their breeders bred a pure Haze plant with their best indica, shortening not only the flowering time but the height of the plant, too, making this a strain that can be grown indoors or outdoors with no problem at all – which should be good news for all those Dutch Passion fans whose prayers have been answered. Dutch Haze seeds tend to germinate in around 2 days, at which point they should be carefully transplanted into their first pots. They tend to be resistant to both mold and spider mites, though you should always check for both. A short vegetative stage of 3 weeks will keep the plants fairly compact without compromising the weight of the eventual harvest too much. With this timing, plants will grow to about 4-5 feet at the very most, which should be small enough for most indoor setups and greenhouses. However, it should be noted that while these plants start out looking very much like indicas, their sativa traits will be exposed later in their grow so a considerable amount of stretch can occur in the first few weeks of flowering. To prepare for this, plant any stake or netting at the start of the vegetative period, or it can be too late by the time they flower. Make sure that your lights are not too far away from the tips of the plants, or they will stretch even further to reach the light. After 30 days in the flowering period, no more stretching should happen. At the end of flowering, after around 11 weeks, the top colas especially should enjoy a very high calyx to leaf ratio, and all the buds will be covered in resin, so much that looking at your crop is like looking at a field of Christmas trees, all covered in tinsel. Haze is one of the most popular types of sativa, and this popularity has a lot to do with the type of high that this strain gives, which is almost beyond words. A soaring, exhilaratingly cerebral rush of energy takes hold and doesn’t let up, leaving you almost literally walking on air.
Bahia Black Head KC Brains Indica 70 / Sativa 30 Origins: Pure Brazil(f) x KC 606(m) Harvest: mid August Bahia Black Head originated in 1998 with a pure Brazilian strain from a friend in Rio de Janeiro that was then crossed with a KC male. The cross produced a variety with the exquisite qualities of the Brazilian sativa intact, but with an earlier finishing time better for temperate zones. As a mostly indica plant, Bahia Black Head is bushy, with leaves that are very bright in the beginning. The leaves and bud both turn a very deep dark green as she matures. As the plant grows, the new leaves are smaller , revealing a hint of sativa heritage. The buds tend to be an advantageous medium size that resist mold and moisture well. Bahia Black Head has a distinctly Brazilian flavor that is strong and slightly hashy, as is the smell. The buzz is a heavy indica stone that may set you in motion. KC Brains offers some plants that are especially intended for outdoors, where they’re allowed to grow large. Bahia Black Head has the great advantage of an early finishing time for growers in temperate climates, but may require some work to remain clandestine: when allowed to grow outdoors for a full season, Bahia can get as tall as 6-7 feet.
Orange Bud Dutch Passion Sativa 80 / Indica 20 Origins: Skunks Flowering: 55-65 days Harvest: late October Orange bud expresses the sativa-leaning qualities from its family of vigorous growing skunk ancestors. A fast, cooperative plant, this variety grows well indoors or out, in any system or medium. It is suitable as a multi-branch plant but yields best in a sea of green. The minimal foliage makes pruning optional. outdoors, Orange Bud flourishes in Southern Europe and other similar climates. When autumn’s chill approaches, her outdoor leaves turn purple, setting off the orange pistils that cover her buds – a beautiful plant. After 30 days of vegetative growth, Orange Bud will be about 2 feet (60 centimeters) tall. Every additional week of growth will give approximately 7 inches (20 centimeters) of extra height, reaching a meter (3 feet) around harvest time indoors, or 2 meters (6 feet) outdoors. Orange Bud’s leaves are classic seven-pointers. Her branches are long, and can be weighed down by the grape-like buds that grow at different sites along their length, making staking a good idea. Orange Bud pot leaves a citrus note on the tongue, tending toward the sweet and floral like a very ripe orange or a tangerine. By the time the taste registers on the tongue, the buzz is palpable. Orange Bud is an uplifting, active mental stone, compatible with any activity. its fast onset makes it attractive for medical relief from nausea and obsessive, distracting thoughts.
Apple Jack Seedism Written by S.T.Oner, Cannabis Sativa vol.1 mostly Sativa Origins: Jack Herer x White Widow Flowering: 10 weeks Harvest: late October Based in Holland, the Seedism Seeds collective knows the Amsterdam coffeeshop scene extremely well. Back in 2001, the guys realized that Apple Jack was really taking off, and when one of the parent plants died they thought the end was nigh for the strain. However, breeder Hazemaster brought the collective his technique of “selfing“, or self-pollinating, and Seedism used their Apple Jack cut to bring this great variety back to the seed game. As pleasant to grow as it is to smoke, Apple Jack flowers quickly for a sativa dominant strain and gives sizeable yields in any environment. Flowering can be finished within 10 weeks, although a week or two more may help to bring out the fantastic flavors in the final smoke. As a cross between Jack Herer and White Widow, Apple Jack has enough indica genes to make it manageable even in a smaller grow room, although some training and trimming might be necessary. Towards the end of the flowering stage the buds will become very large, so staking your plants earlier will help to control and support them later on. After curing, the solid nugs will smell a little hashy, but when burning, the very distinctive taste is more fruity than oily. Apple Jack brings a definite trippy stone, during which your body will be too happy to move and the room will revolve around your head at whatever speed it sees fit.
Angel Heart Mr. Nice Seeds Written by S.T.Oner, Cannabis Sativa vol.1 mostly Sativa Origins: Mango Haze x Afghan Skunk Genetics: 12.5%NL5, 25%Haze, 25%Afghan and 37.5%Skunk Breeder: Neville and Shantibaba Flowering: 60-70 days Harvest: early October Yield: 400-600 grams per square meter Seed companies are only as good as the breeders they have, so by that maxim, Mr. Nice Seeds must be the top of the table with Shantibaba, Howard Marks and Neville Schoenmaker on their team. As each one is an international cannabis celebrity, it’s no surprise that Mr. Nice Seeds have long been lauded for the quality of their original strains. This exceptional sativa dominant hybrid comes from Mango Haze, an amalgamation of Haze, Northern Lights #5 and Skunk #1 heritage, and Afghan Skunk, which is a cross between an Afghani indica plant and the fabulous Skunk #1. Angel Heart, a joint project by Neville and Shantibaba, is an adaptable plant and will grow well in almost any setup, whether in indoor hydro grow, an organic garden, an outdoor setup, or in a greenhouse. If you choose to have an indoor crop, allow 60 to 70 days for flowering in order to get the very most out of this strain, and a vegetative period of 5 weeks is normally sufficient to get the results you want. As this strain is one that is noted for its flavor, consider growing organically to let the natural flavors and traits of the Aghani grandparent come through properly. If any fertilizers or nutrients are used, then growers must flush with distilled water for a minimum of 2 weeks prior to harvest to let the taste really come through. Only with the natural light and quality air of an outdoor grow will Angel Heart reach its aromatic best, though a darkening greenhouse will also suffice. In the Northern hemisphere harvest will occur at the start of October, and in the Southern hemisphere it should be mid-March. A yield of around 50 grams per square foot of grow room is average, although some phenotypes can produce a much greater weight. The breeders recommend flowering out a selected mother plant by way of clone, as keeping the seed mother to produce clones may increase the speed at which the plants flower. They also advocate the selection of certain phenotypes that appear, according to personal taste; whichever plants smell the most luscious to you should be the ones you keep – that’s if you can bring yourself to let the other ones go. This strain produces aromas so sweet that even candy will taste sour afterwards and it is close to perfect in flavor. It is incredibly complex and layered in taste, and though the dried buds smell almost buttery the smoke is very Hazy, with smoky tones of pine and pepper. After the first toke you’ll be ecstatic at having grown such a great taster, and this will only be heightened by the long lasting, motivating high that will probably have you germinating your next batch before the night is out!
Kosher Kush DNA Genetics – Reserva Privada Indica Origins: Kosher Kush x Kosher Kush Flowering: 9-10 Weeks Harvest: mid October Kosher Kush is an amazing Indica strain out of California. It is a stinky over the top strain with an average yield making all who smoke it feel “blessed”. She grows tall so pinching will help tame her as well as beef up the yields. She is easy to grow for the beginner and a challenge to master for the expert. The Kosher can handle moderate to heavy nutrients and has a great bud to leaf ratio making her easy to trim. Kosher Kush will instantly become your favorite smoke. Any herbalist who tries her wants more… Some background on this strain is a group of Jewish kids in LA were running around with this great herb and calling it “Jew Gold”… now in the upper crust LA scene this name was all good and people had embraced it….. Well we just couldn’t get ourselves around the name and referred to it as the JG… well after time went on, we acquired a cut from the JG crew, at a price of course, and started to grow the JG in numbers and well… lets just say it lived up to the hype!!! DNA both are non-religious on every level and really don’t have the desire to promote or not promote any race, religion, or creed… With that being said, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to turn the Jew Gold into the Kosher Kush!!! Keeping humor alive and trusting the cannabis community can handle a stoner name like Kosher Kush!! And most people would agree if somebody says “its kosher” it generally means its OK, not lets go to the synagogue … So Kosher Kush was born… People are asking every day when are the Kosher Kush seeds going to be available and the demand is Very High!!! 1st Indica HT Cannabis Cup 2010 1st Indica HT Cannabis Cup 2011 Strain of the Year 2011 Hightimes 2nd Indoor Bio Spannabis 2012 3rd Indoor Hydro Spannabis 2012
OG Kush DNA Genetics Indica Origins: Los Angeles Kush x SFV strain Flowering: 57-60 days Harvest: mid September The “Original Gangster” OG Kush comes from the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles and is considered to be the strain that put Southern California buds on par with the flowers coming from up North. Developed over three generations and years of stabilizing as well as developing the perfect fertilizer / food for this particular strain, resulted in a phenomenal kush, said to be the strongest indica today. The OG Kush was formally a clone only strain. She stretches in veg but seems to fill herself out in flower. She has smaller nugs that you can get a good yield from if you supercrop her while she’s growing. OG Kush prefers to be grown indoors in a hydroponic setup. OG Kush, when properly grown, has the highest THC content of all kushes and is sometimes so strong, it “makes your teeth hurt” after you smoke a bowl. When smoked, it feels like a wake-up shot to the head, not unlike an espresso, which makes this smoke perfect as a pick-me-up during a long day of physical labor. Having said this, it is not recommended to smoke OG Kush before bed, as it is known to speed up the heart rate and keep the user awake. There is also another well known OG lineage that was developed in Northern California, and this story went something like this.. A guy – we’ll call him KushDawg for the sake of this story – living somewhere on the Northern California Pacific Coast was growing the original cut from San Fernando Valley, the birthplace of most herb carrying the “OG” label. One evening, KushDawg was hanging out at a local bar when another chap also sitting at the bar offered him a bowl of some very special weed. Intrigued, KushDawg accepted the offer. Once the chap opened the bag and the dank, pungent OG aroma lifted into the air, KushDawg knew immediately, unbeknownst to the chap, that this was in fact his own herb. As they toked the glorious herb, the chap rendered his own opinion as to the origin of the herb, saying that it was so great because it was “Mountain Grown.” KushDawg corrected the chap, “Naw man, this stuff is ‘Ocean Grown,'” meaning that the herb was actually grown indoors on the Pacific Coast.
Americano Enterprise Seeds Indica Genetics: Skunk x Northern Lights Flowering: 42-50 days Harvest: late September Americano is a strain that was designed specifically for the American buyers who came to Vancouver looking to purchase marijuana in bulk. Enterprise Seeds crossed two very well known North American strains, Skunk and Northern Lights, to make this full indica variety. Some of Americano’s traits that make it such a great choice for commercial grows are the density of its buds and a short flowering period. While it canbe grown both indoors and out, Americano does best in indoor hydroponic gardens. When using aggressive nutrient formulas, growers can harvest this plant after as little as 6 weeks of flowering. When smoking Americano, excpet a full indica stone that will make you feel heavy and may result in some couch lock. Flushing at the end of the flowering cycle will bring out a little more flavor, but generally, Americano has a somewhat subtle Skunk smell and taste
Big Bang Greenhouse Seed Company Indica 80 / Sativa 20 Origins: Skunk / Northern Lights x El Nino Flowering: 63 days Harvest: early October The Big Bang is a strong, explosive indica, ideal in 5-gallon (20L) containers, as well as for SOG or SCROG systems. This fast, compact plant forms a plump firework of a bush. Big Bang can take a lot of feeding, and will pop out some very smelly buds that can give your air filters a run for their money. Best results are obtained in a hydroponics system, although Big Bang will also do well in soil. If this plant is allowed to grow large, its strong branching and short internode lengths will require some pruning to allow more light and air to reach the inner and lower branches. Growers should start this variety with amedium-low pH (5.6 hydro / 5.8 soil) and slowly increase to reach 6.5 at the end of flowering. EC levels depend on the system. The maximum EC should be 2.0 in hydro and 1.8 in soil. Adequate flushing should be provided. Plants in 5-gallon containers will reach 4-5 feet at harvest if grown for at least 2 weeks. Plants in smaller containers reach 2-3 feet. With no limit to root development, and ideal conditions, Big Bang can skyrocket to over 7 feet in height. Big Bang forms small round buds with overlapping clusters of calyxes, and thick short hairs. Although her leaves are bright green, her resin dulls the color with its grayish shade. Her medium-sized leaflets tend to overlap. Aside from describing her bursting growth, the name Big Bang also describes this strain’s stone, which comes on strong and very smooth, with a semi-narcotic medicinal effect. Like a healing nova within the body, the high expands throughout the sytem to release tension and pain and create a soothing state. The effect is steady and longlasting. Big Bang’s flavor is very intense and sweet, reminiscent of apple, rose and violet candies. Known for her medicinal properties, Big bang is chosen by thousands of medicinal users in Holland, where it is known as “Simm-18”. This strain is goodas a muscle relaxer for multiple sclerosis and helps alleviate chronic pain. Big bang will also be enjoyed recreationally by those seeking a physically relaxing effect. Big Bang won 3rd Prize in the High Times Cannabis Cup, 2000.
Shining Silver Haze Royal Queen Seeds Written by S.T.Oner, Cannabis Sativa vol.1 75% Sativa / 25% Indica Genetics: Colombian x Mexican x Thai x Jamaican Flowering: 9-11 weeks Yield: 600-650 gr/m2 THC: 20% With over two decades of experience in the cannabis growing industry, the guys at Royal Queen Seeds in the Netherlands have more than enough knowledge to produce some fantastic strains for all levels of cultivators. Their products have won much respect over the years and Shining Silver Haze is a variety that certainly demands some attention. Though the exact genetic composition is a closely guarded secret, we do know that this strain is a rare, sativa-dominant member of the Haze family that began life in the U.S. in the marijuana heyday of the 70s. We also know that it is a blend of Colombian, Mexican, Thai and Jamaican plants that bring power in both growth and smoke as well as a whole ruck of juicy, potent buds. If you’re an indoor grower with a limited amount of space, Shining Silver Haze might be a perfect choice for a productive grow. With a maximum height of just under 3 feet, it fits into most smaller grow rooms and can yield up to 450 grams per square yard of grow space. The flowering time has also been reduced; whereas pure Haze varieties sometimes take as long as 14 weeks to finish, Shining Silver Haze will be ready in just 9. The plants are tolerant to nutrients but can burn if you feed them excessively, so be sure to keep a close eye on the color and shape of your leaves – yellowing or other discoloration could be a sign that you’re giving them too much. Though this strain was designed primarily as an indoor plant, she won’t exactly be annoyed if you plant her outdoors; just make sure that you give her lots of water if you’re growing in a warmer climate and disguise your plants as much as possible; even if you’re a legal grower there are predators other than the law waiting to pop your crop! These plants can also adapt well to a deep water culture setup. If you choose to go down this route, or any hydro setup, you should be rigorous in checking your grow every day and monitoring all variables; it’s easy for one thing to go wrong and ruin your grow before you know what’s happening. Every toker loves a Haze high, and this one has the added bonus of bringing on a fierce body stone as well as the usual mind melt. Shining Silver Haze almost has the effect of pulling you in two different directions; it makes your body heavier and your mind lighter, which might make you feel like you’re on something of an emotional rack, but hey, it’s an enjoyable ride!
BC Blueberry BC Bud Depot Indica 80 / Sativa 20 Origins: longtime BC Blueberry clone Flowering: 55-63 days Harvest: mid September BC Bud Depot created BC Blueberry to make a renowned British Columbia clone – the only blueberry plant available in seed form. They crossed the clone plant with an unknown blueberry seed father, resulting in a mostly indica plant that is deliciously fruity sweet with just a hint of fuel. The BC Blueberry is a moderate brancher, forming the typical triangular shape. She can also be pruned at the transition to flowering, making a nice sea of green plant. She is particular about her conditions, which makes her more appropriate for gardeners with a little experience or a good intuitive sense for adjusting conditions. With the right care, this variety performs admirably in either outdoor or indoor gardens, with an 8-9 week flowering time. Outdoors, BC Blueberry can be grown in temperate regions as long as weather does not turn before the harvesting date, around the middle of September. While this plant can be grown in any medium, soil will bring out her luscious flavors. Yields average 1.5 to 2.5 ounces per plant when grown indoors, or between 4 and 16 ounces in outdoor gardens, depending on growing conditions and vegetative times. While three-quarters of these plants will be green, one-quarter are a phenotype that features blue tones and pink hairs. Both phenotypes have medium-thick leaves. BC Blueberry is nutrient sensitive and is a dainty eater, so growers should take care to not overfeed these plants. She can also be sensitive to overly wet conditions. At finish plants grow to 3-4 feet, making them good for rooms with space limitations. Outdoors, they will average nearly double their indoor heights. With TLC, BC Blueberry rewards the hobby grower with compact sweet smelling blueberry buds that are coated with creamy resinous glands. When cured, the buds will turn blue. The effect of BC Blueberry is blissfull. The high creeps into a pleasant and awake state that is very functional. Compared to many varieties, BC Blueberry’s high is relatively short, but comforting and tasty.
B-52 Nirvana Seed Bank Indica 75 / Sativa 25 Origins: Big Bud x Skunk Flowering: 56-70 days Harvest: late October When we asked Nirvana whether B-52 was named for bombs, bands, or buds, they said yes! Whether you think of fast, reliable aircraft with a huge payload – or a brainy, upbeat dance band – the name still fits. B-52 is a truly superior skunk hybrid that produces consistently well and rewards the grower with a very sweet taste and a cerebral high enjoyed by connoisseurs of the skunk family strains. The maternal side of its family tree hails from Big Bud, among the oldest of the commercial strains. True to its name, Big Bud is a classic producer with little foliage to prune, plus a sweet spicy flavor and an indica-dominant body stone. Nirvana’s Big Bud has been bred and selected with a priority on maximizing yields, so much so that Big Buds usually need to be staked and tied because of the heavy bud load on their branches. B-52’s daddy is a Skunk Special, developed with skunk enthusiasts in mind through an intense refinement of Skunk #1. The aromatic Skunk Special fills the room with sativa pungency. With an equal presence of indica and sativa, B-52 delivers the productivity of Big Bud with the dense aromas and flavorful, mellow high of the skunks. This plant is best for a gardener with a few crops under his or her belt. It is especially recommended for the hydro enthusiast, since B-52 gives its best yields in a hydro sea of green. Growing 16 plants per square meter and pruning the plants down to the top and four side branches achieves massive bottle-sized buds. B-52 is durable and can take an EC of up to 2.6 without showing signs of overfeeding. Grown in these optimal conditions, B-52 roughly doubles in height during the flowering period and can consistently tip the scale with yields around 500 grams per square meter. While considered an indoor plant, this strain can be grown outdoors in Spain or similar climates, yielding a mature crop in the beginning of October. Skunk lovers, especially those who like hydro, will be rewarded with good yields and sweet skunky buds. This is good high for daydreaming, or for dancing to cheerful pop music.
The Doctor Green House Seed Co. Indica 80 / Sativa 20 Origins: Great White Shark x South Indian x Super Skunk Flowering: 56 days Harvest: early September Valentino Rossi may be one of the greatest motorcycle racers of all time. Now, in his late 20s, he has come to dominate the sport in a decade of riding, claiming seven World Champion titles in the Grand Prix racing circuit. Although he’s been known by a few nicknames, “Rossifumi” and “Valentinik” among them, most people simply call him “The Doctor”. As you may have guessed, this Green House strain is named as tribute to Rossi. Like her motorcycle racing namesake, The Doctor’s stone blasts on the scene, hitting quick and hard reverberating through the head and body with an intensity that might encourage couchlock. This is zero-to-one-hundred fast accelerating indica. A champion producer, this mostly indica strain generates the heaviest, most dense bud of Green House Seed’s collection. besides being a powerhouse of production and stone, The Doctor is also an easy-to-grow plant that performs well for beginners and experienced growers alike. Soil-based setups will deliver sweeter tastes, but hydro delivers a bigger yield. Outdoors, this variety matures properly in temperate and Mediterranean zones as well as in subtropical regions, finishing around the end of September in the Northern hemisphere. The Doctor is a bushy, indica-dominant plant that requires trimming to clear away her lower branches, and prefers 2 square feet of space per plant. This variety enjoys generous feedings, especially in hydroponics systems. Green House recommends adding extra phosphorous and potassium about midway through flowering, in week 4, in order to maximize flower development. EC levels should not exceed 2.4 in hydro and 2.0 in soil. The buds on this plant may remind you of primitive totems peeping out of a jungle. Massive colas jut out from the dark green leaves, looking oddly out of proportion to the short bushy stature of the plant. Rounded calyxes shoot in all directions fro
